A working meeting of Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Gubarev took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RF. The meeting was attended by Director of the Second Department of the CIS of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Rudenko, as well as Deputy Director of the Second Department of the CIS of the Russian Foreign Ministry Vitaly Tryapitsyn.
Today, on April 29, 2016 a regular meeting of expert (working) groups on railway transport and communications of the sides was held in the office of the OSCE Mission in Bendery. The Moldovan side gave its consent to the meeting of experts after a month's break in the discussions where the consideration of Pridnestrovie’s comprehensive proposals, prepared at the level of the MFA of the PMR, the State Customs Committee of the PMR, and the state unitary enterprise “Pridnestrovian Railway” started.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev met with participants of the fourth session of the “Russian school of policy” being held in Moscow from 24 to 30 April 2016. During his speech, Vitaly Ignatiev told in detail about the current geopolitical situation around Pridnestrovie, the foreign policy course of the republic, as well as the state of the negotiation process with the Republic of Moldova.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR informs that the relevant services of Pridnestrovie reported the facts of unsanctioned flight of the Romanian aircraft “Diamond DA-42 Twin Star” through the airspace of Pridnestrovie on April 27, 2016.
According to the information available, the aircraft intruded into the airspace of the PMR by early afternoon and took aerial photography of a number of facilities located on the territory of Pridnestrovie, as well as it crossed the Security Zone 18 times.
The fourth session of the “Russian school of policy” is being held in Moscow from 24 to 30 April 2016 – the project is oriented toward representatives of Russian regions and foreign participants interested in studying and discussing the issues of internal and foreign policy of Russia, the Eurasian integration processes and current geopolitical trends.

The main topic of conversation was the visit made by the head of the Foreign Ministry to the Russian capital last week, as well as the Memorandum on Cooperation signed between the Federal Customs Service of Russia and State Customs Committee of Pridnestrovie in Moscow on April 18 this year, and the situation in the negotiation process.

Talking to journalists the head of the Foreign Ministry detailed some topical aspects of the current situation in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova, as well as spoke about the results of his visit to the capital of the Russian Federation. The diplomat also commented on some loud statements made by the representatives of the RM authorities concerning relations with Pridnestrovie.
A meeting of Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with a delegation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in the Republic of Moldova headed by Ambassador Signe Burgstaller was held at the Foreign Ministry.
Pridnestrovian and Moldovan experts in the field of education met in the office of the OSCE Mission in Kishinev at the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side today, on April 20, 2016.
It should be reminded that the Pridnestrovian side insisted on holding a meeting of expert (working) groups on education since August 2015, but the Moldovan side repeatedly postponed the organization of the meeting for the internal political reasons that led to a significant slowdown in the process of elaboration of decisions in that area.
